      Most estimates range between 39% and 50% of US households having at least one gun (that's about 43-55 million households). The estimates for the number of privately owned guns range from 190 million to 300 million. Removed those that skew the stats for their own purposes the best estimates are about 45% or 52 million of American households owning 260 million guns).      There are about 80 million gun owners in America with a combining total of 258 million guns.

       There are 88.8 guns per hundred people in the United States.  Can any one tell me how many of these gun owners are crazed killers of children per hundred people.

Oh-Bummer winning is the Best Thing After All

      Could this really be better than we could have planned?  Before you get out the ropes and break down my door to take me over to the nearest tree, hear me out.  

      This reminds me of an old farmer in China years ago or as the story goes.

         Many years ago an old man lived on a poor farm and had one old horse.  One night the barn caught fire and all he had went up in smoke except his one old horse that could not even pull a plow. Then to top it off the next night the old horse ran off.    

     The following morning the neighbor came over to consoling the old guy and said "Oh you have had such misfortune, first ever thing is lost in the fire and now even your old horse is gone." 

    The old Farmer asked "How do you know?" 

     The next morning the old horse returned with a great number of wild mares following him and the neighbor returned to congratulate the old man on his change of fortune, saying  "My have the gods smiled on you this day just look at this great blessing". 

     The old man again questioned his neighbor saying "How do you know"? 

      The next day while trying to train the wild mares the son fell off and broke his leg and again the neighbor returned, see what had happened, said "Oh how much misfortune you have had just when there is all this work to be done your poor son breaks his leg, how tragic for you". 

     And again the old man asks, "How do you know"? 

     The next after noon the army came through on a forced recruitment drive and takes away all the fit young men and all the serviceable horse".

      Many of you are now crying, Obama and his fellows have woe the election. We have seen what he did the first time and the only bi/partisanship we got was when the weak kneed Republicans copulated to the lies and promises that has lead us down this road of faults Hope and Change for last forty years I have been paying attention.  What a miss fortune we have had is now lamented as we can see the fires burning on the piers where they plan to burn the constitution and finally rid themselves of that pesky Second Amendment.

What would have most likely happen if we had won this time?  

     Most likely those who now claim victory would try and shout down any possible change of direction. They are good at that. They have already sent up their cries and laments about how the evil Tea Party has held the Republican Party hostage. They have whined that the Tea Party as taken over the Republican Party just like the communists have taken over the Democratic Party, while we were a sleep thinking all was well.

       Where else would we be if we had won this battle but in a more bitter fight to hang on to less and less hope of survival for the way of life we cherish.

      But if wishes were horses fewer beggars would be walking.

Our worse fears are now upon us.

          God help us, it is sure now that no one in Washington D.C. is going to.  How far do you think they can go without our cooperation, like running down to register our guns making it easier for them to find our last means of protection? With 90 guns out here for every 100 people living here, they have a job on their hands.

     

        Clinging to our scriptures and our guns is not such a bad idea.  What do you think?

 

       The biggest problem I have seen is the crime found in learning that 2/3rds of the Republican donors are not even registered to vote. We can hope that as the ground begins to fall from under their feet as we draw nearer to the brink of destruction more of them will wake up and join in and we can hope that some of the others just might change sides.

      Now as I hear you lament on how tragic things are and I have to admit I have one of that number, I ask "How do we know that this has not been part of the greater plan all along".  I see that the dark black skies are turning purple over on the edge to the east and the sun will again rise.  But the cold winds of adversity will blow even harder as the sky grows lighter.

We can only fail if we quit. 

What is Wrong with this Picture?

      A young lady has problems fitting into a "punch the clock world", of you have to do it just this way and hurry up while you are at it.

     She finds a job emptying a bucket. This she can do and the people she is serving like the job she is doing.

      This Job is paid for by the benevolent mandate of the collective "state", from money stolen from the people who the state works for.  It sounds like a good Idea to train people to help them do a better Job of emptying a bucket.

      A bunch of PhD's working for the "state" think up all kinds of things that a person who empties a bucket needs to know; for example the procedures on how to empty a bucket in a safe, clean, well ordered way and other safety matters.  On paper it all looks good and EVERYONE AGREES that this is the way it should be done.  People have been doing this for years without a government mandate on these same procures any way, but we just want everything to go according to the "Now Mandated" regulations.

      In order to be better trained in proper bucket use procedures, the Young lady who is not working or getting paid yet, needs to shell out, to pay an overworked and underpaid person to show her how to properly empty and clean the bucket, and pay even more money to take the test to prove she is qualified.

      The young lady is given permission to start work with the understanding that she has to pass a proficiency test to show she is qualified in proper Bucket handling and other equally difficult tasks, that she may be call upon to assist an older person.

      The lady starts working and is doing a far better job than many of the people, who came to empty the bucket prior to  the mandated training being put in place.

      The young lady wastes no time in going to and shelling out for her classes.  She then runs into a, "She doesn't fit in again and no one knows the way to get it all done yet" new program of government intervention.  Everyone one says she has to call another person and that she will be called back because she does not have a computer or the knowledge to run one if she did.  This is terrible, how dare she be so stupid and be late in trying to figure it out despite her efforts to yell for help as best she could.

The Guillotine falls.

     Three days before the end of the mandated term allotted to comply with the regulations all parties are notified that the day of the cut off has arrived and they sent in a lady who most likely would have had the same problems since she is from out of state and has language understanding issues. But since this person was working before the mandated testing she is test free and thus more qualified anyway.

     Bam! You are out, go eat dirt, file for unemployment, and welfare, or starve.  After all it is now the "WE JUST MADE IT UP LAW, and the full weight of the benevolent government will not allow you to have any reprieve, because it is all in the book written by the PhD's." There were no provisions written in the law for best effort failure, due to her or anyone else not understanding how to get it done in the given time. Not with standing, there are other programs long established that do allow for clemency if good faith effort has be demonstrated.

     Now unemployed and after all the strings are finally pulled and with all the run around over she is finally given at least a test date.  "Better late than never", they say.

     DESPITE THE FACT that the young lady takes her tests and is told that she is one of the best in her practical test, she still missed her written exam by one question and is fined another fee to retake the test she and remains unemployed.

     DESPITE THE FACT that the people who she is to server like her work and has been one of the best that has ever come to help

     After all it is the LAW and the LAW must be obeyed. No one is above the LAW not even those in congress unless they can get their colleagues to judge it differently and if they can figure out what the word "IS" means.

     DESPITE THE FACT that the LAW is not a LAW but a civil statute and not subject to punishment under the law where the accused is afforded a trial by jury.

     I guess it is this sort of thing that has given rise to the Neo-Tea Party Moment" in the first place which is finally holding the Republican feet to the fire and refusing to allow the Republican capitulation, that passes for the only form of bipartisanship.

What if Noah Tried to Build the Ark Today?

…..And the Lord spoke to Noah and said:

“In one year, I am going to make it rain and cover the whole earth with water until all flesh is destroyed, but I want you to save the righteous people and two of every kind of living thing on earth. Therefore, I am commanding you to build an Ark.”

In a flash of lightning God delivered the specifications for an Ark. In fear and trembling, Noah took the plans and agreed to build the ark.

Remember,” said the Lord: “You must complete the Ark and bring everything aboard in one year.”

Exactly one year later, fierce storm clouds covered the earth and all the seas of the earth went into a tumult. The Lord saw that Noah was sitting in his front yard weeping.

“Noah,” he shouted…“Where is the Ark?”

“Lord, please forgive me,” cried Noah. “I did my best, but there were big problems: First, I had to get a permit for construction, and your plans did not meet the building codes. I had to hire an engineering firm to redraw the plans”.

“Then I got into a fight with the Fire Marshall and OSHA over whether or not the Ark needed a sprinkler system and approved floatation devices. Then, my neighbor objected, claiming I was violating zoning ordinances by building the Ark in my front yard, so I had to get a variance from the local planning commission. Then, I had problems getting enough wood for the Ark because there was a ban on cutting trees to protect the Spotted Owl…but, I finally convinced the U. S. Forest Service that I really needed the wood to save the owls. However, the Fish and Wildlife Service won’t let me catch any owls, so, no owls.”

“Then the carpenters formed a union and went on strike. I had to negotiate a settlement with the National Labor Relations Board before anyone would pick up a saw or hammer. Now, I have 16 carpenters on the Ark, but still no owls. When I started rounding up the other animals, an animal rights group sued me. They objected to me taking only two of each kind aboard mumbling something about “Obama and fairness”".

“Just when I finally got the suit dismissed, the EPA notified me that I could not complete the Ark without filing an environmental impact statement on your proposed flood. They didn’t take very kindly to the idea that they had no jurisdiction over the conduct of the Creator of the Universe. Then, the Army Corps of Engineers demanded a map of the proposed new flood plain. So I sent them a globe”.

“Right now, I am trying to resolve a complaint filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission that I am practicing discrimination by not taking Godless, unbelieving people aboard. The IRS has seized my assets, claiming that I’m building the Ark in preparation to flee the country and not pay taxes. I then got a notice from a state revenue agent that I owe them some kind of user tax because I failed to register the Ark as a “recreational water craft.” And finally, the ACLU got the courts to issue an injunction against further construction of the Ark, saying that since God is flooding the earth, it’s a religious event, and, therefore, “unconstitutional”. I really don’t think I can finish the Ark for at least…another five or six years.”

Noah then waited for a response from the Lord…

The sky began to clear, the sun began to shine, and the seas began to calm. A rainbow arched across the sky. Noah looked up hopefully.

“You mean you’re not going to destroy the earth, Lord?”

“No,” He said sadly.”

Communist, Islamic extremists, are as peaceful as Obama is a Christian.  Say what you will, I for one will continue to cling to my Bible, my GUN and my Book of Mormon for that matter in defense of the Constitution and Freedom!  Cowards have never had peace.  When emotions rule over reason there can be no peace. 

     All truth has come from the same source.
      It is sad to see what the religions of man have made of the same spiritual philosophy that has come from that same source time after time. Why should we kill each other in order to prove that My God Is better than your God.  Do we not all teach there is but one. 

     Hindus and Muslims in India, Christians and Muslims in the crusades to free Jerusalem, open season on Jews from the beginning. Then right here in the United States "Born Again Christians" came again and again to burn again them "Dad Burn Mormons".

       WHY??
  If you are not coming down the street to burn my barn and when I come out to fight the fire you wish to shoot me, it is none of my concern how you wish to pray. 

      Isn't that what the First Amendment is all about.

A Mormon for President? (Part Two)

Can someone who believes that he will grow up to be a God and that Jesus the Christ and Lucifer are brothers make a good president?

Who We Are - Why We are Here - 

and Where We are going.

Prolog

       To fully understand the relationship between Jesus Christ and Lucifer and for that matter how we fit in the picture with them, it would be good to understand what the Church calls "The Plan of Salivation". [1]  I find this a difficult subject to fully discuss for there are those who would restrict the conversation to "Only what is in the Bible". They accuse me of Adding to the Word of God.[2]  I ask: Are you not taking away from the word of God by rejection the Book of Mormon as true scripture?

        Is the Book of Mormon true, now becomes the debate and the whole issue of the relationship to Jesus Christ and Lucifer is set aside in the long held and unbending belief that "The Holy Bible" is the only and total sum of all that God has ever said and all he can or could ever say.  Is the Book of Mormon True is an important question and should and needs to be addressed. There are two scriptures that will add in the quest.  First STUDY,[3] the second PRAY.[4]  Due to the requirement of time that it takes to fully study and prayerfully consider an undertake of such an important issue I would, for expedience to the question of the relationship between our selves, Jesus who is the Christ and Lucifer the Adversary, temporary ask we set this question aside, for the moment, if you will allow me. How ever if this can not be done and is to be an impediment to the open discussion I would suggest that we stop here and take on this more important issue in understanding the "Mormon" faith which we call the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The main question remains "Is the Book of Mormon true"?  All this hinges on and ends with the Question of "Is the Book of Mormon true?" If the Book of Mormon is true and came to be as Joseph Smith said then the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are true.  What is true can be debated until the nether world freezes over but the way it really is will remain despite what is believed by any of us.

Plan of Salvation

       In the Beginning, before the foundation of creation we were all with our Father, God and Creator [5] in place we call heaven or the abiding place of God.  We all came to a great conference to deicide what was to be done.  Our Fathers plan was that we would build an earth and gain bodies, be tested and those who were obedient would return and inherited all that our Father has.[6]  One would be selected as our guide and savor. Our older Brother Jesus came forth and said "Father, send me I will be the guide and example where by your children will learn and return to you to glorify your name." And then another said "No Father send me and I will make every one obey and all will return to you and I will have the glory.  Lucifer would have taken a way the free agency of man and wish to have what he thought was a better plan than that of our Father.  There was a great contention, a War in Heaven if you will. In the end our Brother Lucifer was cast out with one third of the host of heaven with him to never be partakers in the fullness of all the Father has. [7]

          Today that great battle for the souls of men continues where the Godless would have us slaves of the state for the good of the collective.  These Godless hordes take every opportunity to separate Church and State forgetting and resenting the fact that the divine document that was inspired of God, our Father, states clearly "Nor prohibit the free exercise there of."  These same hordes attack the Jews to prove that God is not God.  If our Father can not protect the Children of Israel and gather them once again as he promised he will cease to be God and the whole plan of our Father will be thwarted. I do not wish to be on the wrong side of that fight, would you?

A Mormon the Whitehouse? 

      Why would any freedom loving, God fearing man of any faith who loves the U.S. Constitution as I do ever fear such a thing. The restoration Gospel for Jesus Christ in its fullness would not have been possible under any other law of the land that has come of men before or since.  A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is bound by his faith to defend this Constitution as one would his Life, Liberty, and his family. [8]

       As I have said before the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Tea Party suffer for the same problems namely "A Lot of Bad Press".  Could it be they both are fighting the same enemy namely the "Father of Lies" -another name for Lucifer.  I am told that I must separate Church and State.  I can not for to me it is all about the same fight over the Freedom of men's souls, and ladies too.

7 And there was ^awar in heaven: ^bMichael and his ^cangels fought against the dragon; and the ^ddragon fought and his angels,

[8] Alma Chapter 48:11  And Moroni was a strong and a mighty man; he was a man of a perfect understanding; yea, a man that did not delight in bloodshed; a man whose soul did joy in the liberty and the freedom of his country, and his brethren from bondage and slavery;

12  Yea, a man whose heart did swell with thanksgiving to his God, for the many privileges and blessings which he bestowed upon his people; a man who did labor exceedingly for the welfare and safety of his people.

13  Yea, and he was a man who was firm in the faith of Christ, and he had sworn with an oath to defend his people, his rights, and his country, and his religion, even to the loss of his blood.

14  Now the Nephites were taught to defend themselves against their enemies, even to the shedding of blood if it were necessary; yea, and they were also taught never to give an offense, yea, and never to raise the sword except it were against an enemy, except it were to preserve their lives.

15  And this was their faith, that by so doing God would prosper them in the land, or in other words, if they were faithful in keeping the commandments of God that he would prosper them in the land; yea, warn them to flee, or to prepare for war, according to their danger;

16  And also, that God would make it known unto them whither they should go to defend themselves against their enemies, and by so doing, the Lord would deliver them; and this was the faith of Moroni, and his heart did glory in it; not in the shedding of blood but in doing good, in preserving his people, yea, in keeping the commandments of God, yea, and resisting iniquity.

Who Shall We Have to Be Our President?

Prolog

       I now stand here before you, today, ashamed of my silence in this recent past. I have be reluctant to speak out, allowing for the ignorance and miss information that has been spread about, over the last one hundred and eight years that plagues this nation - A nation founded on the principal of Freedom - I have been afraid that the subject about which I now speak would only serve to distract from my purpose in this forum of preserving the Constitutional Republic know as the United States of America.  Yet as I have sat by the very issues for which I stand accused of avoiding still remain and now threaten to divide us.

        Some now question their support for a man to lead this country with out regard to his high moral character and devotion towards the betterment of his country.  They do not question this man's integrity or his allegiance to those who wish to destroy the very fabric of FREEDOM that holds us together as a people as one should question the present occupant of the Oval office.  They hold this man unfit for office because they do not choose to agree with his religious faith. I feel if you would know more about his faith and its teachings on law and government maybe you would look on him more favorably or at least set aside the issue of his faith as an issue to his eligibility to hold the office of President.

Would Mitt Romney make a better President than Barack Obama?

      That is an unfair question.  As Glen Beck said, his grandmother's shoe would make a better president than Barack Obama.  The question is could a "Mormon" be a better president than Barack Obama.

Mormons and Government

          You will not hear any endorsements or discussion about politics in a meeting of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as a matter of principal such is discouraged. We feel that liberal democrats and communists are also the children of God and as such need to hear the message of the restored gospel like everyone else.  That is not to say that we hold such matters lightly and we are encouraged to be supportive of good government.  The church teaches, as I believe and understand that the Constitution is a divine document and is inspired of God, that the United States is a choice land set apart by God and will be the last sanctuary of freedom in the world in the last days.  Look around is this not true now as it was taught 180 year ago.  

      Joseph Smith was asked how he managed to govern a city of over 20,000 on the edge of the wilderness in Nauvoo, Illinois in 1843 he told them "I teach them correct principals and they govern themselves".

Brigham Young stated that he love the Constitution but went on to stated his contempt for the rascals who administered it.  I, like you, feel the same way today.

The Church and Freedom of Religion

I quote the articles of faith

11  We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

All we ask is the same respect.

        In closing I offer you the rest of the articles of faith for you review to see if there is any thing in them that would prohibit a man from being a good President of these United States of American.

1  WE believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.

7  We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.

8  We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.

9  We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.

10  We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.

11  We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

12  We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.

13  We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things.  If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
